I think reading texts or viewing images are not enough to fill your sports-enamored heart up, is it? So if you are a big sports fan, then here is a great news for you, are you interested? The ABC-owned sports giant has released WatchESPN app to the Android platform. The WatchESPN app will allow you to stream live video from channels just like the iPhone version or HDTV at home. WatchESPN app will includes channels such as; ESPN, ESPN3.com, ESPN2 and ESPN U. For that you will have to have an Android v2.2 Froyo or above supported device. But this app apparently doesn’t support the larger screens of Honeycomb tablets at the moment and also there is no word for any further plan about this.

Apart from these if you’re interested for this app then, you should requires to install Adobe Air on your device. ESPN has committed to bring their Goal Line and Buzzer Beater channels to the app. But a big downside about this app is, this app will only work for subscribers to cable providers such as; Time Warner Cable, Bright House Networks and Verizon FiOS TV. So if your cable company is supporting, then you can grab the app for free from the Android Market.
