As you all were excited about the Royal Wedding of yesterday, similarly, people from many countries all around the world, were interested to know what’s going on and how they are celebrating the wedding. but, it was certain that everyone all around the world could see it live and that’s when we actually need the social media to see how the things are going on! hence, Webtrends, a website for mobile and social analytics has gathered the information regarding what’s going on with The Royal Wedding on Social Media.

According to this infograph, Twitter has been the most powerful social media resource for the Royal Wedding. Almost 911,000 tweets have been made in the last 30 days with an average of 30,000 tweets a day (average of 71% influence). The second most influenced resource was the Facebook with almost 217,000 status updates (average of 16.9% influence). Then, finally, the individual blogs have also contributed in Royal Wedding with an approximate 145,000 blog posts (average of 11.3% influence).

But, the most interesting fact about this Royal Wedding is that more than 50% tweets, facebook status updates and blog posts are from the United States.

And the most surprising fact is that The Royal Wedding has an influence rate 38.1%, whereas, Japan’s earthquake and Egypt’s protestion had an influency rate of 37.7% and 24.2% respectively.
