Well, as I always say, till date we haven’t seen the new Apple product in our own eyes, up to that date, we are going to receive the rumors associated them, and in this case the iPhone 5 has broken all the past records of the previous Apple products, isn’t it? Here comes another! OmniVision, the company that’s famous for producing out-of-the-box digital imaging solutions, supplied Apple with the back camera sensor for the iPhone 4. Well, recently, the California based company has manufactured new sensors called OV12825 for the upcoming smartphones cameras. Let’s have more information on this from below.

This newly developed OV12825 sensor will offer 12.6 megapixel resolution along with 1080p video recording on 60fps.

Though till now, no one has ordered this futuristic sensor yet, but Apple has records to include OmniVision sensors, hence, there are some chances. At this point, an important point is to be noted that according to some strong rumored reports, Apple will be ditching OmniVision for Sony for a 8MP sensor.

As you all know, the iPhone 4 offers a magnificent image sensor and Apple has been working with OminiVision in the past, hence, there’s a great chance that Apple may stick to OmniVision for OV12825. What do you think on this? Just don’t forget to share your views and comments on this with us.
