A dangerous bug has been found in the iOS 4.1, that lets you bypass iPhone 4 passcode lock and allows you to make calls and access contact information. It follows a simple technique that you just have to lock your iPhone with a passcode then press emergency call and type a non existing number (as ###). Next tap the call button and immediately hit the lock button. It should open up the Phone app where you can see all your contacts, call any number, etc.

This bug is affecting iPhone 3GS, 3G, iPhone 4 on iOS 4.0.1 and above. But, don’t worry, Apple has been reportedly notified about this issue, Apple will surely do something in the upcoming final release of iOS 4.2.
