Pandoc is a powerful command-line tool that can convert documents from one markup to the other. This tool can convert text documents between formats like Markdown to HTML, HTML to MediaWiki, etc. It has its own library including a separate module for every input and output format. It can convert an HTML file to a MediaWiki file.
