According to a study it’s confirmed that, the Google’s Android Market has passed away Apple iTunes in offering more free applications for smartphones and tablets. It’s also reported that, the Android Market is currently offers 134,342 free applications while the Apple store has about 13,000 fewer. Most importantly, Google’s Android Market is going to be the largest applications store within five months (prediction) followed by iTunes and the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace. What’s surprising, the Blackberry which once dominated the smartphone category is now a distance 4th, it’s only beating out Nokia’s Ovi Store.

There is also found that, Amazon’s Android AppStore has fantastic features like one-click checkout, free app of the day, and a virtual Android interface to test drive apps. Amazon has thrown a little spice on it by offering $25 in AppStore credit with the purchase of selected Android smartphones. It’s also reported that, 58% of the most popular publishers are developing apps for non-Apple products. Don’t you think it’s a fun to Apple? Well what soever one thing is sure that, Android is pumping out all around.
